Just found this today:

The Worlds Most Favorite Songs!

::The global poll was conducted by Sony Ericsson to launch its new Walkman phone.

"We Are The Champions is an anthem worldwide both in music and sporting arenas. It conveys the passion music brings to our lives and proves a classic rock song is truly timeless," said Sony Ericsson corporate vice president Dee Dutta.
Global Top 10:

1 We Are The Champions - Queen
2 Toxic - Britney Spears
3 Billie Jean - Michael Jackson
4 Hotel California - The Eagles
5 La Tortura - Shakira
6 Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
7 Yesterday - The Beatles
8 One - U2
9 Imagine - John Lennon
10 Sultans of Swing - Dire Straits

I haven't even heard of two of these songs (#2 and #5). I really don't see how We Are the Champions could possibly be considered as "the world's most favorite song." Even Freddy Mercury sounded bored of singing it by the last few versus. Billie Jean was a good song when Michael Jackson was still cute and black. Now he's a middle-aged white pervert and I don't think any of his songs belong on any list other than most deserving of destruction. Hotel California, well, it's one of those songs that's okay but over-played. I suppose it belongs on a list somewhere, but probably not this one. Smells Like Teen Spirit was a good song, for a week, but much more than that and you're likely to get a headache. One by U2...isn't that the song that has the buffalo running in the video? That's all I can picture, oh, and I hate Bono. Sultans of Swing always reminds me of my junior college Music course when our professor made us listen to it because it represented a certain type of singing that I can't remember now. Not a particularly energizing song.

Okay that leaves us with Yesterday and Imagine. Not my favorites...but I'll give 'em a break since they're both sung by some form of Beatle.

And that's all I have to say about that.

Face transplants sound like something out of a freaky movie, but apparently they're discussing it in Cleveland. Creepy.

Hmm...reading up on the below-mentioned "hurricane" photos turns out they most likely aren't from a hurricane at all, but rather another type of storm. Oh well, they're still pretty neat looking.

And look! Hong Kong has a new Disneyland!!
